# Editability Reference

## 1\. General Settings

Core study identification fields and configuration.

## 3\. Data Security Features

**⚠ ImportantEnable MFA For Study Access**is the only setting that locks specifically when a study transitions to live status. All other locked settings lock at the point of initial creation.

## 4\. Patient Management Features

Patient identification, enrollment, screening, randomization, and management view settings.

**🔒 Critical — Permanent LockEnable Patient Management View**cannot be changed after the study is saved for the first time. The interface states: "This setting is unchangeable after study created." Plan accordingly.

Clinical study event tracking including adverse events, medications, protocol deviations, and disposition.

## Quick Reference: Locked Settings

### Settings Locked Permanently After Creation

These settings cannot be changed once the study is first saved. Choose carefully during initial setup.

### Settings Only Available After Creation

These are disabled during initial study setup and become editable only after the study is saved.
