Pre Conditions

To use the Delegation of Authority (DoA) feature, certain pre-conditions must be met.

  1. Availability in the Live Environment: The DoA Log is exclusively available in the Live environment. This means that the feature becomes accessible only when your environment is set to Live.
  2. Enabling the “Live” Feature: Ensure that the AM has enabled this feature in the Feature Control. If not, you may need to contact them to request this activation.
  3. Adding Principal Investigator (PI) to User List:
    • You need to add the Principal Investigator (PI) to the user list in your study.
    • If the PI is not added to the list, they won't appear in the PI selection options during the delegation assignment.
  4. Granting permission: The default permissions assigned to each role are outlined below. Additionally, you may need to assign specific permissions to your users. This can be done in the 'USERS & PERMISSIONS' tab, located within the 'User Management' section.
